Pune, Jul 18 (Reporter) Controversial IAS probationary officer Pooja Khedkar's mother Manorama Khedkar was arrested on Thursday by the Rural Police for allegedly threatening farmers by showing a gun. A case was registered against her for threatening farmers by showing a gun. Based on that complaint, Manorama was arrested from a hotel in Mahad of Raigad district, police said. Police further said that they were looking for Manoram for past few days and they carried out search for her in her hometown of Pathardi, Mumbai, Pune. Acting on a reliable information that she was hiding in a hotel at Mahad, a team of Crime Branch of Pune Rural Police raided the hotel early in the morning and arrested Manorama, police said. From last few days, trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, her mother Manorama Khedkar and father Dilip Khedkar are in the news. A video of Manorama Khedkar has surfaced in which she is seen allegedly threatening a farmer with a gun. Manorama had purchased 25 acres of land in Dhadvali village of Mulshi in Pune and also tried to take over few other lands.
