Mumbai, Jul 28 (Reporter) The regional office of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Sunday predicted that the intensity of rainfall is likely to reduce in next week.
Also, it has not issued any alert for the period from July 29 (Monday) to July 31 (Wednesday).
Barring an orange alert sounded for Raigad district for Monday, other coastal districts namely Thane, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg have been placed under a yellow alert for next 24 hours.
Sunil Kamble, director of IMD in Mumbai, said that the monsoon trough is not intense right now, as a result of which, intense rainfall will not take place over Mumbai.
However, the south-westerly and westerly winds will continue to blow, bringing with them light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai...////...
