Mumbai, Dec 5 (Reporter) Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday took a dig at outgoing Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde saying that "Shinde era is over" and he will never be the CM again.
Talking to media hours before the swearing ceremony of new chief minister Devendar Fadnavis and Shinde as deputy chief minister along with NCP president Ajit Pawar, the Sena leader claimed that Shinde was 'used' by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and now "he has been tossed aside".
He also said that despite the majority, BJP was unable to form the government for nearly 15 days -- it means that there is something wrong within their party or Mahayuti.
"This issue will start showing from tomorrow," he hinted.
The Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 witnessed a decisive victory for the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, securing a landslide win with 235 seats. The results marked a significant milestone for BJP, which emerged as the single-largest party with 132 seats.
The Shiv Sena-Shinde and NCP-AP also made notable gains, with 57 and 41 seats, respectively...////...
