Kolhapur, Satara, Apr 20 (Reporter) Satara Local Crime Branch (LCB) on Saturday arrested two robbers and recovered a total of 52 'tola' stolen golden ornaments valued at Rs 38.94 lakh and a car used in crime, both valued at Rs 41.90 lakh. In an official press release, the LCB police team laid a trap at the Satara bus stand and arrested Ramesh Mahadev Kumbhar, a resident of Kasheli in Bhivandi tehsil of Thane district, and Nilesh Shamrao Ghadve of Banvadi in Koregaon tehsil of Satara district. In investigation, both suspects confessed to a housebreaking in a Shivaji Housing Society in Karad city of Satara district on March 30 and April 1 and stole a total of 52 tolas of golden ornaments.
