Kolhapur, Sep 30 (Reporter) Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, will arrive in the city on a two-day visit on October four to participate in two programmes. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Congress MLC Satej Patil said that Rahul Gandhi will arrive on October four and will unveil a life-size statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kasba Bavda area of city on the same day. Next day, on October five, he will visit to mausoleum of Rajarshi Chhatrapatii Shahu Maharaj at Town Hall area if the city and later attend 'Samvidhan Sanman Sammelan' (Respect Constitution convention), in which about 1,000 representatives of all religions from the state and representatives of different NGOs will participate and interact with Gandhi. Patil further said that later in the evening, a total of 2,001 artistes will present a drama on life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Pavilion ground in Kasba Bavda. The intention of this programme is to carry the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to new generation, he informed.
