Maha: Shinde gives administrative approval for expansion of Phule memorials in Pune

Mumbai, Jan 27 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday gave an administrative approval for acquisition of land and resettlement of residents displaced due to expansion of Mahatma Phule Wada and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Memorial in Pune. A fund of Rs 200 crore has been approved for these works and expansion of this monument will pick up speed after getting administrative approval. Land acquisition for expansion of the memorials will be done and after that a road will be constructed to connect both the Phule Wada and Savitribai Phule Smarak memorials, he said and informed that both the monuments will be preserved and developed.
