Maha: Shinde's health improves

Mumbai, Dec 3 (Reporter) The health condition of Maharashtra's caretaker chief minister Eknath Shinde, who was reportedly unwell for last three to four days, has improved as per the medical report. On Tuesday, Shinde went to a private hospital in Thane for a medical examination. The report revealed that there was nothing to worry, after which he left for his official Varsha bungalow in Mumbai. Last week, on Friday, Shinde had gone to his native Dare village in Satara to relax due to hectic activity during the state assembly elections. However, next day, he returned to his private residence 'Shubdeep' in Thane. It was expected that he would be active for the party's and Mahayuti's meetings again but due to his ill health, he could not participate in these meetings. He was not feeling well on Monday either, due to this, he cancelled the day's meetings and rested at home. Shinde was suffering from fever and throat infection, also, his blood platelets were down. Due to this, he was administered saline at his home on Monday, sources said. BJP leader Girish Mahajan met Shinde and enquired about his health.
