Nashik (Maharashtra), Jan 21 (Reporter) Three people were killed and two others seriously injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided head-on with a container on the Ghoti-Sinnar state highway in Igatpuri taluka in this district. According to Wadivarhe police, the accident took place on Monday evening near SMBT Hospital on the highway. Amol Vinayak Ghuge, a autorickshaw driver from Kalyan, was heading towards Shirdi with his family and relatives in an autorickshaw. The autorickshaw driver tried to overtake a vehicle and hit a container coming from the opposite direction. In this accident, Amol Vinayak Ghuge (25) died on the spot. His daughter Swara Ghuge (four) and another person Martand Awhad (60) died in the hospital. Ghuge's wife Pratiksha Ghuge (22), Kalavati Awhad (58) were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment at SMBT Hospital. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Assistant Police Inspector Ram Vonde of the Highway Safety Team rushed to the spot.
