Sangli, Maharashtra, Nov 28 (Reporter) Three members of a family, including a couple, were killed on the spot, and three others seriously injured when their car plunges in Sangli's Krushna River from Ankali Bridge early this morning. According to police, six members of a family from Gangadhar Colony, Sangli city, were reported to be returning from Kolhapur after attending a marriage ceremony by car. A speedy car driver lost control over the wheel on Ankali bridge, causing the car to fall 100 feet deep in the Krushna river. A couple and woman were killed in an incident, while three others were seriously injured and admitted to Sangli civil hospital. Police have identified Prasad Bhalchandra Khedekar, his wife Prerna, and Vaishnavi Santosh Narvekar as deceased, while Sakshi Santosh Narvekar, his son Varad, and Samarjeet Prasad Khedekar are injured.
