Jalgaon (Maharashtra), Dec 23 (Reporter) Two youths were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding tanker near Amalner checkpoint on the Highway in this district on Sunday night. According to police sources, the deceased were identified as Raju Bhoi (46), resident of Erandol and Deepak More (34), resident of Shirsoli, Jalgaon. Raju Bhoi died on the spot while Deepak More, who was seriously injured, succumbed at the Rural hospital in Erandol. A case has been registered against the tanker driver at Erandol police station. The tanker was impounded at Parola police station. After the accident, angry citizens held the National Highways Development Authority responsible and staged a road blockade for some time demanding that a case be filed against the project director.
