Mumbai Jan 1 (Reporter) Opposition Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday attacked Maharashtra's Mahayuti government on the issues of corruption, farmers' suicides and oppression of women and said while the calendar has changed the working of the current dispensation has remained the same.
"As the new year begins, will the Mahayuti government stop the suicide of farmers and oppression of women in the state? Will law and order be maintained, Will inflation slow down, will the youth get employment?" posed Thackeray.
In his New Year message, Thackeray also wondered whether "the looting of Maharashtra and Mumbai will stop in future"
He said the Mahayuti government had announced an incentive allowance to Anganwadi, Asha workers and helpers for filling forms of women for the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme. However, the government has not yet given them the allowance, he said...////...
