Mumbai, Dec 23 (Reporter) An undertrial accused who is facing charges of murder, has been re-arrested and remanded to police custody for allegedly hurling a slipper at a judge during the hearing in a Sessions court in neighbouring Thane district, police said on Monday. According to details, accused Kiran Santosh Bharam, who was arrested in 2012 murder case, was produced before Additional Sessions Judge R G Waghmare for a hearing in the murder case against him. On production, the court adjourned the hearing for next date, hearing this accused hurled a slipper at the judge but instead, it hit a wooden frame in front of his desk and fell by the side of the bench clerk, police said.
