Mumbai, Jul 21 (Reporter) The Mumbai Youth Congress activists on Sunday held a unique protest by riding boats in water-logged areas of Mumbai during heavy rains. Leading the protest, Suffiyan Haider, working president of Mumbai Youth Congress, said, "We are protesting against the Maharashtra government for not fulfilling its promise of flood-free Mumbai." He said due to heavy rains in city and its suburbs, water logging is taking place at most of the places in the city, following which Mumbaikars faced several problems. Haider further said that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation along with the state government spend crores of rupees on the drainage system of the metropolis but despite that water logging took place, which shows the corrupt practices of the administration...////...
