Mahayuti to win again in Maha assembly polls: BJP chief

Mumbai, Jun 26 (Reporter) Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule predicted on Wednesday that the Mahayuti (grand alliance) will win in upcoming state assembly election, as the voters believe in the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who started his third term by bowing before the Constitution. Speaking at a programme held here to welcome new entrants in the party, he noted that similarly, the voters will not forget the mistakes made by the Congress and INDIA bloc. He said that these activists have joined BJP to support Modi's vision of a developed India, believing in him and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He claimed that many Congress workers are eager to join BJP, as they are tired of propaganda and falsehood of the Congress party and INDIA front. Also, activists working under the leadership of former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan are also coming to BJP, he added. Earlier, many former Congress corporators and workers of Malkapur (Karad) municipality in Satara district joined BJP, in presence of Bawankule. Among them were former chairman of Malkapur civic body Rajendra Yadav, former chairman of Women & Child Welfare Gitanjali Patil, former corporators Swati Tupe, Anita Yadav as well as many Congress workers...////...
