Imphal, Jan 29 (Reporter) Manipur Police nabbed three persons allegedly involved in drug trafficking on Tuesday in two separate incident. Police said one Meraimayum All Hassan of Lilong Mairen Khun Thoubal District was nabbed and from him 37 drug packets, each containing suspected brown sugar, weighing a total of 859 gm were recovered. In another incident Manipur Police arrested one Anil Katwal of Kanglatongbi Mandir, Imphal West along with 13.20 kg opium. In another case, Manipur Police arrested one Bashir Ahomod Laskar of Nutan Ramnagar Part I, Cachar , Assam along with 4.24 kgs of suspected Brown sugar concealed in a welding machine box which he was carrying. Police said two cadres of KCP (PWG), namely, Rajesh and Tomba who were involved in extortion from general public, government officials and shops in different areas of Imphal were apprehended on Monday. On Tuesday police recovered six Rocket (IED) along with one Launcher, Mortar (Pompi), 7.62 mm Sniper round, Sniper magazine and large numbers of war like materials in operation from Loilamkot to Nalon under Henglep-PS, Churachandpur District...////...
