Shillong, Jan 29 (Reporter) The budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will begin from February 16. According to a notification, Governor Phagu Chauhan has summoned the Legislative Assembly to meet at 10 AM.“In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India I, Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Meghalaya, hereby summon the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly to meet at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, the 16th February, 2024,” the notification said. Commissioner and Secretary Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Andrew Simons has notified that the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) would meet on February 2 to decide on the sittings of the session.
