Hyderabad, Jan 12 (Reporter) Military Hospital Golconda, under the aegis of Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (HQ TASA), organised a Medical Outreach Camp for Armed Forces veterans and their dependents on January 11,, in Golconda, Hyderabad.
The camp offered specialist treatment in General Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, and Cardiology, along with diagnostic facilities.
The Hyderabad Veterans’ Lions Club and the Army College of Dental Services participated enthusiastically, contributing to the event's success. Free medicines were distributed to attendees by HQ TASA.
Brigadier S.K. Chetty, representing HQ TASA, interacted with the veterans and assured them of continued support in providing quality healthcare. He reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to addressing veterans' concerns and thanked them for their invaluable service to the nation.
The camp witnessed active participation, with approximately 350 veterans and their dependents benefiting from the medical services provided. The initiative highlighted the Army’s dedication to caring for its retired personnel and their families, a defence statement said on Sunday...////...
