Mizoram CM condoles demise of Manmohan Singh

Aizawl, Dec 27 (Reporter) Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has condoled the death of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He said that he is deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh. "His unparalleled contributions to India's growth and governance will always be remembered. Heartfelt condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace," Lalduhoma posted in his X account Thursday night. The Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) also expressed profound grief over the demise of Dr Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, describing him as a humble leader and a true statesman. In a condolence message, MPCC President Lal Thanzara hailed Dr Singh’s unparalleled intellect and integrity, emphasising his pivotal role in transforming India’s economy. "His contributions have catapulted the nation to where it stands today. His legacy of humility and quiet but firm resolve will continue to inspire future generations," the message read. Dr Singh’s dedication to improving the lives of Mizoram’s people was also fondly remembered, with the MPCC noting that his efforts would inspire young people and Congress members in the state for years to come.
