Paliganj,Bihar May 27 ( UNI) Accusing the Modi government of discriminating between the rich and poor, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has adopted double standards for both classes and had separate policies for them under which the rich were getting richer and poor were becoming poorer. While addressing a public meeting in favour of the RJD candidate in Paliganj of the Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency on Monday, Gandhi said that all the policies of the Modi government were for the 22 rich people like Adani whose Rs 16 lakh crore loans were waved off whereas the poor section of the society remained ignored during Modi's regime. Terming it as a revolutionary scheme, he said the amount would be transferred directly to the bank account of the woman beneficiary till the poor family was lifted from the poverty line. Blaming the Modi government for contemplating changing the constitution at the tune of the BJP RSS, Gandhi said that the entire INDIA Alliance, poor, farmers, labourers and oppressed section here standing solidly behind the constitution and no force can ever change it. Speaking against the Agniveer scheme, Gandhi alleged that the Modi government had converted the soldiers into labourers.
