Mumbai, Mar 12 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of dedicated 6,000 Railway projects worth more than Rs 85,000 crore, laid foundation stone of petrochemicals complex of Petronet LNG at Dahej and flagged off 10 Vande Bharat trains, extension of four Vande Bharat trains and other train services at functions organised simultaneously at several places across the country. These included laying foundation or dedication of 50 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Kendras, 222 Railway Goods Sheds, 51 Gati Shakti Multi-modal Cargo Terminals, 2,646 Digital Controlling of Stations, 35 Railway Workshops, Loco Sheds, Pitlines, Coaching Depots, Doubling, Multi-tracking and Gauge conversion of 1,500 Km of railway lines, Automatic Block Signalling of 80 Rail Line sections of 1,045 Km, 35 Rail Coach Restaurants, More than 1,500 One Station One Product stalls, 975 solar powered stations, service buildings, electrification of 2,135 Km of Rail line sections, 401 Km of New Khurja-Sanehwal Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor section, 244 Km of New Makarpura-New Gholvad Western Dedicated Freight Corridor section, Operation Control Centre, Ahmedabad, Phaltan-Baramati New Rail Line and nine Electric Traction System Upgradation work, said a press release issued by Central Railway here. The Prime Minister also flagged off the Vande Bharat Trains namely Mysuru-Chennai, Lucknow-Dehradun, Kalaburagi-Bengaluru, Ranchi-Varanasi, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Khajuraho, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam, New Jalpaiguri-Patna, Patna-Lucknow, Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central and Bhubaneshwar-Visakhapatnam. He also flagged off extension of four Vande Bharat Trains namely, Ahmedabad-Jamnagar upto Okha, Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla up to Chandigarh, Gorakhpur-Lucknow up to Prayagraj and Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod up to Mangalore in addition to other train services. Various projects whose foundation stones were laid / dedicated to the nation by Modi includes 506 projects in Maharashtra. These projects included laying foundation, dedication of 150 One Station One Product (OSOP) stalls, 170 Electronic Interlocking Systems, 130 solar panels, 18 new lines, doubling of lines, gauge conversion, 12 goods sheds, seven automatic signalling systems, four Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals and three electrification [rojects, said the release. Among others were dedication of coach factory at Latur, Wagon repair workshop at Badnera and Vande Bharat maintenance-cum-workshop depot at Pune. Inauguration of five Jan Aushadi Kendras at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Manmad, Pimpri, Solapur and Nagbhir (Chandrapur district). Inauguration / dedication of four Rail Coach restaurants at Nashik Road, Akola, Andheri and Borivali. Ms Indu Dubey, DRM Pune, attended function at Phaltan and Brijesh Kumar Singh, ADRM, attended function at Pune. Branch officers and staff of Pune Division attended the functions at Pune, Pimpri, Patas, Phaltan, Miraj, Satara and Kolhapur, added the release...////...
