Nagpur, Dec 18 (Reporter) Expressing grave concern over inordinate delay in declaration of the results of
the Civil Service Officer's main examination conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), member Satish Chavan on Wednesday demanded that MPSC should declare the results of all the pending examinations on time.
Making a special mention in the upper house in this regard, he said that the MPSC conducted the main examination for 495 posts of Maharashtra Civil Service Officer on January 28, 2024 but its results have been pending for last 11 months.
Nearly 5,000 candidates from the state appeared for this examination, he mentioned.
Now, the year is coming to an end, but the results of the main examination have not been declared as yet, he pointed.
Recruitment is not being done despite there are numerous vacancies in many departments of the government, he informed.
Also, in those departments where recruitment has been done was not done on time, the MLC noted.
As the results are not being declared on time by the MPSC, there is growing dissatisfaction among the
candidates who appeared for the examination, he mentioned.
Therefore, Chavan made a special mention in the House, demanding that the MPSC should declare the results of all +the pending examinations on time...////...
