Gaya (Bihar), June 14 (Reporter) Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Jeetan Ram Manjhi on Friday said that there was vast scope to work in this Ministry and he would do his best to actuate the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Manjhi, during maiden visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Gaya, after becoming Minister in Narendra Modi government, told media persons that he was feeling lucky and fortunate to get opportunity to work as Minister in Narendra Modi cabinet. It was for the first time in history of Gaya Lok Sabha seat that its representative had become a Minister in the Union cabinet, he pointed out. The Union Minister dismissed the allegations of opposition that MPs from Bihar had not been given important portfolios by PM Modi, saying MSME Ministry had enough scope to work. It was a vast department and he noticed the fact during a meeting with officials, he added. "While handing over responsibility of the department to me, Modi had said he was giving him his vision", Manjhi recalled. He would do his best to come to the expectations of the PM and people of the country, he remarked. "During my tenure in MSME Ministry, I will ensure that benefits of all schemes could reach the targeted section of the society", te Union Minister said. He also thanked people of Gaya Lok Sabha constituency for reposing faith in him. As it is, Manjhi is patron of Hindustani Awam Morcha, a constituent of NDA.
