Mumbai, Jan 10 (Reporter) A 16-year-old college girl was found dead in the bathroom of an international educational institute in the Goregaon area of the Mumbai suburb, police said on Friday. According to the incident, which took place on Thursday morning, the student, who was in FYJC, allegedly took her own life using the laces of her shoes. According to officials, the student attended her classes as usual in the morning. During a break, she went to the bathroom and did not return. An attendant discovered the bathroom door was locked from the inside after staff members noticed her prolonged absence. After breaking the door, staff members discovered the student hanging inside. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
