Mumbai Jan 12 (Reporter) Mumbaikars woke up to moderate air quality as the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 127 as of 8 am on Sunday.
The AQI was moderate in many areas of Mumbai, including Bandra Kurla Complex, Colaba, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Navi Mumbai, and Thane.
The AQI is a measure of air quality, with 0–100 considered good, 100–200 moderate, 200–300 poor, 300–400 very poor, and 400–500 or above severe.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The city is forecast to experience a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius along with fog and partly cloudy skies.
The overall air quality of Mumbai was observed in the ‘moderate’ category with an AQI of 141 on Friday and is expected to remain moderate until Monday.
