Bhubaneswar, Sep 26 (Reporter) BJP President and Union Minister J P Nadda on Thursday slammed the Congress party dubbing it as the “Spokesperson of urban Naxals” Addressing a function organised by the state BJP unit on the membership drive campaign, Nadda came down heavily on the Congress party accusing it of working to promote divisive forces. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the BJP and NDA have focused on the nation's development, while the constituent parties of the INDI Alliance has fostered corruption and supported anti-national elements The Congress and National Conferences aim to abolish reservation in Jammu and Kashmir, restore Article 370, and engage in negotiations with Pakistan, Nadda said accusing the Congress of joining hands with the forces who are advocating for the revival of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress and the company talked about inflation but during their tenure, the inflation in the country was in double digits, whereas today the inflation rate in India is quite low, Nadda said. The two siblings in the Congress party know only two words in the name of economy,“ Inflation and Unemployment”, out of which they are facing political unemployment and do not know anything about inflation India is the only nation whose growth rate is moving forward at the fastest pace, the BJP President claimed Nadda asserted that the BJP was a true national political party having a democratic manner and sticking to its ideology allowing leaders to emerge from the grassroots levels. In the BJP, leadership is not inherited through family ties, but a Karyakarta connected to the ground and a simple background becomes a leader He further said the BJP operates under the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” while Congress functions in isolation. Nadda remarked that the Congress party has never accorded the same level of significance to its membership program as the BJP does. This highlights the seriousness with which the BJP approaches membership. Membership in the BJP is transparent and digital. Following the membership drive, individuals will transition to active members, leading to the Mandal elections, followed by district and state elections.Ultimately, this process will culminate in the selection of the National President for the party. This process he said only happens in the BJP, not in any other political parties. This is why there is no hierarchy or dynastic politics within the party, Nadda said, adding that a leader emerges who is connected to the grassroots and comes from a humble background. He said Mahatma Gandhi urged the disbanding of the Congress after India's independence in 1947, but his words have been overlooked by Congress leaders, resulting in a departure from the party's foundational ideology. Nadda also attacked the Left parties, which he said started with one ideology, and have diverged significantly from their original path. Notably, while the Left and Congress are opponents in Kerala and West Bengal, they present themselves as allies in Delhi. Nadda mentioned that nearly 200 laws of India were previously inapplicable in Jammu & Kashmir, including the absence of reservation for Scheduled Castes and Valmikis. Notably, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani hailed from West Pakistan, yet no West Pakistani refugee in Jammu & Kashmir had the right to vote in the Vidhan Sabha elections. However, following the abrogation of Article 370, they were granted voting rights. This showcased the consistency of the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Supreme Court,Nadda said, has called for a ban on triple talaq, yet the Rajiv Gandhi government attempted to present a bill to overturn this Supreme Court order and amend the Constitution. Triple talaq, he said, does not exist in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, and Indonesia, which are all Muslim-majority nations, while it continued to thrive in India under the guise of secularism. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has worked to bring Muslim women to the mainstream. In 1989, during the Palampur resolution, a commitment was made to pave the way for the construction of the Ram Mandir. The BJP,Nadda claimed, recorded 18 crore members last year. In the BJP, everyone from the Prime Minister and National President to each Karyakarta is required to renew their membership every six years, ensuring a strong and accountable organizational structure. Today, the BJP boasts over 10 lakh 40 thousand booths, with more than 8 lakh 40 thousand having an appointed President. Additionally, there are over 1.5 lakh Shakti Kendras and more than 15,000 Mandals operating across India, all functioning on a robust cadre-based structure. Nadda stated that the party currently has 350 MPs, over 1,500 MLAs, and more than 7,000 Mayors, Zila Parishad Chairpersons, and Block Samiti members. He said Modi Ji has appealed to the people to participate in the membership drive to help achieve the vision of a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047. The BJP President said currently, economies in the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan, and China are struggling with growth rates below 5 percent. In contrast, India’s growth is projected to exceed 7 percent , and the IMF has recognized India's economy as a "Bright Spot." Under the leadership of Narendra Modi Ji, India has risen from the 11th position to the 5th position in the global economy, surpassing Britain.India, the BJP President said, is poised to become the third largest economy in the third term of PM Narendra Modi Ji. India has also become the third-largest market for automobiles, with motorcycle purchases in villages tripling, showcasing the growth of the economy. In terms of infrastructure, world-class roads, highways, elevated roads, underways, metro systems, and flyovers are being constructed. It has been decided to invest Rs.10 lakh crores in infrastructure. Within 100 days of the Modi government's third term, Modi Ji has approved Rs.3 lakh crores for infrastructure development. The Ayushman Bharat, he said is now the world's largest health coverage program, benefiting 55 crore people, which accounts for 40 percent of India's population. The program provides annual health coverage of Rs.5 lakh to 12.36 crore families, who are marginalized members of society. Within the first hundred days of the Modi government's third term, it has been approved that every individual over the age of 70,regardless of their economic status, will receive Rs.5 lakh in health coverage for life under theAyushman Bharat scheme. This reflects a significant change in India’s health sector. Studies show that, wherever the Ayushman Bharat Scheme has been implemented, people have cleared their bank loans, highlighting economic development. In international situations, Nadda said earlier, India was often mentioned alongside Pakistan, as both countries were viewed as equals. However, today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, India stands apart and is no longer compared with Pakistan. India has established its own unique identity, while Pakistan has fallen behind. He further claimed that under the leadership of Modi Ji’s leadership, India is making significant strides towards the goal of becoming a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047, and the next five years are vital to realizing this vision...////...
