Naveen offers prayers at Puri Jagannath temple

Puri, Jan 23 (Reporter) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday went to the iconic Jagannath temple here through the newly constructed Sri Marg and offered prayers to lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra. After offering prayers, Patnaik went round the Parikrama project and waved to the crowd of devotees. Sources in the BJD said the Chief Minister visited the Jagannath temple as he could not have darshan of lord Jagannath on January 17 when the Sri Mandir Parikrama project was dedicated for devotees by him.
