Mumbai, Oct 5 (Reporter) A leader from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)-Ajit Pawar faction, Sachin Kurmi, was murdered by unidentified assailants in Mumbai’s Byculla area late on Friday night, an official said here on Saturday. The incident occurred at midnight, behind MAHADA colony in Byculla. Immediately, he was taken by police at Govt. run JJ Hospital but was declared dead at JJ Hospital. Police have stated that it remains unclear who was responsible for the attack on Sachin Kurmi. They believe that 2 to 3 individuals were involved in the incident.
