NCP (SP) chief criticises Modi Govt

Beed, May 11 (Reporter) NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday accused the Narendra Modi government of being anti-farmer and misusing power to suppress the voice of people while appealing public not to vote for such government. While addressing an election rally here for the party candidate Bajrang Sonawane, he said that unlike UPA government which waived off loans of farmers, the Modi government has done nothing for farmers despite being in power for a decade. Furthermore, the government ordered attack with sticks on farmers protesting for MSP for agri produce, he charged. Calling the Modi government anti-farmer, the octogenarian leader made an appeal to public to not give power in his (Modi's) hands again and asked farmers to show their might through ballot. Continuing his attack on the government for abuse and misuse of power, the NCP supremo charged that he (Modi) has been exerting his power because he cannot tolerate criticism against him. "Do not vote for Modi or BJP," Pawar urged people to vote for Sonawane in order to stop him (Modi)...////...
