Patna, June 2 (Reporter) BJP MP Ramkripal Yadav whose convoy was attacked on the last day of the Lok Sabha elections, said here on Sunday that he has never indulged in "politics of violence". Retorting sharply at the Saturday incident, Yadav during his morning walk on Sunday said that he was surprised by the attack. "I never imagined that anyone can open fire at me," he said, adding that he was never into the politics of violence. The MP, who was earlier with the RJD said that such politics never happened when he was with the party and it appeared to be an emerging trend in the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Speaking about the incident Yadav, who was contesting from Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency against RJD Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, said he was moving in his constituency during the polling. He on June 1, visited polling booth in Masaudhi after reports of vandalism by local RJD MLA Rekha Paswan Yadav. Some 20-25 people attacked and opened 3 to 4 rounds of fire at him on Patna Dobhi four lane when he was returning from the booth. Yadav said he had a narrow escape but two of his supporters sustained injuries. Meanwhile Patna East Superintendent of Police Bharat Soni said that a written complaint has been filed and the matter was being investigated...////...
