Mumbai, April 22 (Reporter) The Mumbai Crime Branch has added three new sections to the FIR against alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang members accused in a firing case outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Bandra residence here a few days back.
Now Anmol Bishnoi is wanted in the case and the police have added IPC 506(2) for threatening, 115 (abetment), and 201 (tampering with evidence), officials said here on Monday.
Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan's house through a Facebook post following the attack, has been declared as wanted in connection with the case
The Mumbai Crime Branch earlier arrested two shooters, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) from Bhuj in Gujarat, who were produced before a local court and remanded to police custody till April 25.
They had fled after firing at least four bullets at Salman Khan’s home in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra west around 5 am on April 14.
Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility next day after the attack.
In a Facebook post , he stated that the firing was only a "trailer", and if Salman did not apologise to the Bishnoi community, he will have to face dire consequences.
The police, which had formed 15 probe teams are also checking if there are any threads linked to the shootout in Raigad, where the Khan family has a farmhouse in Panvel.
