Pune, Feb 10 (Reporter) Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Konkan and Goa, west Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra; at isolated places over Marathwada, Vidarbha; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat state, Telangana, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places over Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. On Monday, the lowest minimum temperature of 6.5°C is reported at Sangaria (Rajasthan) over the plains of the country. Dense to very dense fog conditions were reported in isolated pockets of Meghalaya and east Uttar Pradesh and Dense fog conditions reported in isolated pockets of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Visibility reported (upto 0830 hours IST of today) (≤ 200 m): Meghalaya: Barapani 30; east Uttar Pradesh: Ballia 40, Gorakhpur 100; Odisha: Balasore 70. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
