Pune, Dec 20 (Reporter) Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over Odisha, Telangana; at isolated places over Chhattisgarh; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rayalaseema; at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over Bihar, Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Rajasthan, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, south interior Karnataka, coastal Karnataka and Gujarat Region. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, west Rajasthan and near normal over rest parts of the country. On Friday, the lowest minimum temperature of 3.8°C is reported at Adampur_IAF (Punjab) over the plains of the country. Shallow to moderate fog was reported in isolated pockets of Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions were observed in isolated pockets over Himachal Pradesh; Cold wave conditions in isolated pockets over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Punjab and Saurashtra and Kutch. Ground frost conditions recorded in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and at isolated places in Odisha, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep...////...
