Nitish appeals to donate for Army Welfare

Patna, Dec 7 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appealed to the people to donate in Bihar State Ex-Servicemen Benevolent Fund for welfare and rehabilitation of Army personnel. Kumar donated in the fund on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day. Director Army Welfare directorate Brigadier Mrigendra Kumar called on the Nitish Kumar on the day and extended his gratitude for increasing exgratia amount. As it is Bihar Government has enhanced the exgratia amount from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 21 lakh for the soldiers belonging to the state. The amount of ex-gratia grant for disabled soldiers released from military service of the Armed Forces has been increased from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh. Besides, the amount of honor given to the bravery award winners resident of Bihar has also been increased.
