Nitish assures there would not be dearth of land for Raxaul Airport

Patna, Dec 24 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured that there would not be a dearth of land for the under-construction Raxaul Airport and announced 104 developmental projects worth Rs 201.12 crore for East Champaran district. During his Pragati Yatra Kumar inaugurated and laid Foundation stones of 104 development projects worth Rs 201.12 crore on Tuesday. He said that the Airport being constructed by the centre in Raxaul should be further expanded for which the state government would provide land. He said that a bridge would be constructed on the Lalbakeya river for the convenience of the people. The Chief Minister said that an embankment would be constructed on the Bangr river to protect the people of the Raxaul block from floods. He also announced the development of Sita Kund Dham as a tourist spot. While addressing the Jeevika didi's during his Yatra Kumar said that inspired by his Jeevika didi project the centre initiated it in the name of Ajeevika across the country.
