Patna, Oct 7 (Reporter) Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar disbursed Rs 1650.33 crore among beneficiaries of various schemes and said that it will directly benefit the people. Kumar said here on Monday that the poor families belonging to the scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe and of other communities were getting the benefits under the sustainable livelihood scheme. He said Jeevika didi was efficiently utilising the funds given to the self-help groups as bank loans and had become self dependent. Reiterating his commitment to providing basic facilities to the homeless and those living in kutcha houses, Kumar said that to eradicate open defecation a mission has been launched under Lohia swachh Bihar Abhiyan. He said that under this mission Rs 180 crore has been transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries. The Chief Minister said that Rs 2800 crore would be transferred within the next 100 days for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana, MGNREGA and Lohiya swachh Bihar Abhiyan...////...
