Patna, July 16 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the death of Vikassheel Insan Party president Mukesh Sahni's father Jitan Sahni. In his condolence message on Tuesday, Kumar termed the incident as most painful. Kumar said that he has directed The Director General of Police to inquire into the incident and ensure stern action against the culprits. Kumar spoke to Mukesh Sahni over the telephone and condoled the death of his father. He also prayed The Almighty to give courage to the family members for bearing the loss. As it is the father of VIP chief Mukesh Sahni was brutally killed at his ancestral residence on Monday night under Biraul police station area in Darbhanga district. The body was found this morning. The mortal remains of Jitan Sahni were consigned to flames at the residential complex of Mukesh Sahni on Tuesday. Meanwhile the Special Investigation Team(SIT) constituted to crack the case began its investigation . The team detained two people in this connection and was interrogating them. The senior police superintendent of Darbhanga Jagannath Jala Reddy said that in the CCTV footage it was found that four people had entered into the residence of Jitan Sahni on Monday night in between 10:30 to 11 p.m. and came out after a few time. The preliminary investigation revealed that of the four people who entered into the house two of them had taken money on interest from the deceased and one of the suspects had also given his motorcycle as security of the loan. The deceased and the suspected people had a scuffle 2 days ago during which they had threatened the deceased with dire consequences, informed the SSP.
