Nitish revived political fate of Lalu and Tejaswi : BJP

Patna, Aug 12 (Reporter) BJP on Monday claimed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had revived the political fate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and both should remain always grateful to them. Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal told media persons here that Kumar had revived political fate of Lalu Prasad and his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, by joining hands with RJD. Had Kumar not joined hands with RJD, the party would not have revived, he pointed out. Jaiswal said that Lalu and his son never promoted any Yadav outside their family as they were reeling under a sense of political threat. Congress had confirmed the ticket of Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav from Purnea in recently held Lok Sabha election but Lalu and Tejaswi tried to finish him politically, he pointed out. The state BJP president said that Tejaswi was scheduled to begin his statewide yatra shortly as base vote of RJD was shrinking. Yadavas had realised the fact that RJD was doing nothing for them, he noted. Jaiswal said that RJD and Congress had not done anything for Muslim community and they continued to get their votes by creating a sense of fear among them from BJP. On the other hand, BJP government had taken a series of steps to ameliorate the conditions of Muslim community, he claimed. BJP leader, who is also Revenue and Land Reforms Minister in Nitish cabinet, said that he had directed the authorities to complete the land survey within stipulated time frame.
