Nitish shocked over killing of two Biharis in Manipur violence

Patna, Dec 15 (Reporter) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday expressed his deep shock over the killing of two people of Gopalganj district of Bihar, in Manipur violence and announced financial assistance of Rs two lakhs each for family members of the deceased. Kumar in his statement said he was deeply shocked to learn about the killing of two people of Gopalganj district of Bihar in violence in Manipur. Those killed were identified as Dashrath Kumar and Laxman Kumar. The Chief Minister announced that family members of the deceased would be given Rs 2 lakhs each from CM relief fund. He directed the authorities to ensure payment to bereaved family members as soon as possible. Nitish directed the Labour Resources Department to give other assistance to family members of the victims as per norms. He also directed resident commissioner of Bihar in New Delhi to make arrangements to bring bodies of victims from Manipur to their native places in Gopalganj district of the state...////...
