Nawada, April 12 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday took potshot at RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for being indulged in dynastic politics, having no concern for others.
Kumar, while addressing a public meeting in favour of BJP candidate Vivek Thakur from Nawada Lok Sabha seat, said that Lalu had fielded candidates from his own family.
Two daughters of RJD chief were contesting Lok Sabha election while his two sons Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav were at key positions in the party and also had been ministers, he added.
" During the RJD regime, Lalu and his wife Rabri Devi ruled Bihar for 15 years and there was complete lawlessness in the state during that period ", the Chief Minister said adding that no one used to come out of their house after Sunset for fear of being attacked by criminals.
Since his government was voted to power in 2005, law and order had improved remarkably making it possible for all to move freely, as and when they wished and even in late night, Nitish asserted.
Kumar said that Centre was extending its support to his government as much as possible for all round development of Bihar. His government had performed well in changing scenario in all sectors in the last 18 years, he pointed out.
The Chief Minister said that media was giving more coverage to opposition while achievements of his government were not being given much attention.
