Nitish urges PM for road and rail connectivity to Punauradham, birthplace of Maa Sita

Patna, Sep 22 (Reporter) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take all required steps for improving rail and road connectivity to Punauradham, the birthplace of Maa Sita in Bihar. Kumar in his letter to PM Modi on Sunday, requested to increase road and rail connectivity to Punauradham so that devotees could reach there easily to pay obeisance to Maa Sita. It was pleasing to note that in recent past, a number of decisions had been taken to improve infrastructural facilities in Bihar, he added. " I request you to issue necessary directive to ministries concerned to complete the ongoing construction work of Ram Janki Marg connecting Ayodhya with Punauradham dham", Chief Minister urged PM and requested him to issue directive to Railway Ministry to introduce Vande Bharat train on Ayodhya- Sitamarhi route. He thanked PM for developing infrastructural facilities in Ayodhya and pleaded for similar initiatives in Punauradham. Kumar also informed PM that Bihar government had acquired 50 acres of land for developement and beautification of birthplace of Maa Sita.
