Patna, Nov 4 (Reporter) Jan Suraaj President Prashant Kishor on Monday strongly rubbished the perception being created by some elements that he was active in politics to become Chief Minister of Bihar and asserted that his only ambition was to improve the condition of people of the state.
Kishor popularly known as PK , while addressing a series of public meetings in favour of his party candidate Jeetendra Paswan for the assembly byelection in Imamganj seat, said that some elements were engaged in creating perception among the people that he was active in politics to become Chief Minister of Bihar.
Such perception being created among the people, was not at all true and his only ambition was to ameliorate the conditions of people of the state, he stressed.
PK said that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar remained at the helm of affairs in Bihar for nearly 35 years and both of them divided the society on the basis of caste to take electoral advantage.
Both Lalu and Nitish did nothing for welfare and development of people of Bihar, he alleged.
Kishor said that Lalu promoted only his family members while Nitish continued to take decisions to stick to the post of CM anyhow. It was time to get rid of both of them and give opportunity to "Jan Suraaj " to serve people of the state, he added.
PK said that leaders and officials of Bihar were so corrupt that people were being given 4 Kg of foodgrains instead of allotted quota of 5 Kg per head for families living below the poverty line. Prime Minister Narendra Modi managed to get votes only in lieu of few Kg of free foodgrains and he did nothing for employment of youths, he remarked.
" People should come out of barriers of ' Jaat aur Bhaat '(caste and ration) and think for future of their children", Kishor said. He exuded confidence that 'Jan Suraaj ' candidates would emerge victorious in all four seats in Bihar where byelection would be held on November 13...////...
