Mumbai,May 27 (Reporter) NCP (Ajit Pawar Group) National President Ajit Pawar on Monday said election is a test of workers and none should be hysterical about the victory nor discouraged by the defeat. Addressing NCP's chief functionaries and workers at a meeting held at Garware Club House , he appealed to the party workers to focus on the Assembly elections and said the party workers were the backbone of the party and should be preserved. He said we will face the upcoming assembly elections and wants to build the party organization accordingly. The veteran leader said June 10 will be the 25th anniversary of the NCP and on this occasion various programmes would be held in every district. Pawar clarified that the ideology of Shivaji Maharaj- Jyothibha Phule-Shahu Maharaj and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is the core of our party and we will not give up this ideology no matter how much we have to pay. National working president MP Praful Patel said the upcoming assembly election is important for all of us and we all should focus on it.He expressed his determination to regain the national status of NCP and expand the party under the leadership of Ajit Pawar across the country. ' Under the leadership of Ajitdada Pawar, we all took an unprecedented decision. In his speech, state president MP Sunil Tatkare expressed the belief that the people of Maharashtra will give 100 percent stamp on it.' However,Tatkare insisted that NCP leaders or workers did not cross their limit while criticizing anyone during the campaign. ' Now we have to reorganize the party in order to face the upcoming assembly elections. We will definitely get the desired success,' and appealed to everyone to start working from today by taking the role of 'one target Assembly Constituency'. Senior leader of the party and Minister of Food and Civil Supplies Chhagan Bhujbal appealed to the party to focus on the organizational structure of the party and on the assembly elections.
