Baramati, Apr 21 (Reporter) Sunetra Pawar, candidate of the ruling Mahayuti from Baramati Lok Sabha constituency who is contesting on NCP (AP) ticket, said on Sunday that the days of traditional politics of promises and speeches are over, and efforts are needed to solve complex problems faced by common people. At present, not only Maharashtra, but entire world is fighting for survival of the human race, she said and informed that problems of climate change, rise in global temperatures, environmental degradation are staring at human existence. In this background, not only speeches at public meetings and parliament will be useful but they must be accompanied by action, she expressed. To face these problems, people need elected representatives who not just make speeches, but get down to the ground and work with participation of all common people, she asserted and called for NGOs and central and state governments to work hand-in-hand to make life easier for common people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a leader who knows sentiments and expectations of the common people, Ms Pawar said.
