Chennai, Sep 23 (Reporter) In yet another incident, the second in a week, a notorious history-sheeter was shot dead in an encounter with the police after he was arrested from his hide out at Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh and brought to the city for interrogation and judicial remand. As reports earlier said, police did not link him with the late TN BSP Unit K.Armstrong killing case, as was widely believed. However, it was not entirely ruled out about his involvement in Armstrong case. A top police official said there seems to be no link in Armstrong case and that he was arrested in connection with a key case filed in Velacherry police station in the city. The criminal Seizing Raja alias N Raja was arrested in Cuddapah in AP from his hide out by the special police team in connection with various cases registered against him including several murder cases, attempt to murder and extortion on Sunday night. The history sheeter, who was declared as a proclaimed offender and was wanted in 39 cases was arrested in connection in connection with a case registered by the Velacherry police. and brought to the city.
