Bhubaneswar, Nov 26 (Reporter) The members of the Odisha Assembly on Tuesday joined the leader of the House Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to condole the death of a former Minister and five former Members who passed away during the intervening period of the first and second session of the seventeenth Assembly. The house observed one minute of silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls. Moving the motion Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his deep sorrow over the death of former Minister Samir Dey, former members-- Dhaneswar Majhi, Makardhawaj Pradhan, Niranjan Pradhan, Utkal Kesari Parida and Purna Chandra Majhi. He requested the Speaker to convey the condolence of the house to the bereaved family members. Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik said the death of the former Minister and former members is a great loss to the Assembly and their family members and expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
