Bhubaneswar, Aug 19 (Reporter) Odisha BJP has set a target to enroll one crore members in the state, party President Man Mohan Samal said on Monday.
Samal said the state unit has launched all preparatory works to enroll the members in the party and said in the first phase a special workshop will be held at the state, district, Mandal, and booth level where all workers would participate to make the campaign a success.
The BJP leader said on Tuesday a state-level workshop will be held on Tuesday attended by all MPs, MLAs, Office bearers, district Presidents, and General Secretaries besides the members of the Member committee.
He said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers K V Sing Deo and Pravati Parida, National member committee member Rituraj Sinha, and party’s state in charge Vijaya Pal Singh Tomar and Co in charge Lata Usendi will address the gatherings
Samal said a special training session will be held from August 22 to August 24 at the district level for the membership drive while at the Mandal level, the workshop will be organized from August 25 to August 27, and at the booth level the workshop will be completed before August 31.
He said those who believe in the ideology of the BJP will be contacted and made as Members of the Party.
