Bhubaneswar, Apr 15 (Reporter) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday approved the creation of 2,500 new Home Guard posts for the state. With the addition of these posts, the total number of Home Guards in the state has increased from 17,675 to 20,175, according to sources from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Earlier, the Chief Minister had announced plans to increase the number of posts in the state police force to strengthen law and order across Odisha.
