Odisha CM Naveen responds to PM Modi, says he is 'perfectly fine'

Bhubaneswar, May 29 (Reporter) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark on his deteriorating health condition stating that he is 'perfectly fine'. Modi in election meetings at Baripada today announced that the BJP government when formed in Odisha , will set up a special committee to probe into the deteriorating health condition of Patnaik and find out whether there is any conspiracy behind his worsening health condition. He said “if Modi is so concerned about my health, he should pick up the phone and call me to know my health condition”. Stating that his health condition is perfectly okay and he has been campaigning for the party candidate for the last month, the Chief Minister asked the Prime Minister to institute a committee to probe into the people who are spreading rumors on his health condition. Patnaik further said it is not good to do politics on his health condition and alleged that the BJP has been indulging in a misinformation campaign against him during the last ten years. The Chief Minister also said Modi should set up a committee to find out how much revenue Odisha should get from the coal royalty. In another video released to the press, Patnaik said he has been serving the 4.5 crore people of Odisha as members of the Biju family. He said “I have always been by your side, be it good times or bad times, be it covid pandemic or any natural distress like floods and cyclones, will remain with you till my end of life”. Patnaik said the amazing success of Mission Shakti women has brought him great joy and happiness.The youth in Odisha are also moving forward with loads of self confidence. The CM said it is this youth power which will take Odisha forward and make the state number one in the country. The Senior BJD leader said it is really sad that political leaders from outside are coming here and attacking him at a personal level, making hurtful statements, even using derogatory language. Patnaik said “ you all very well know that I never disrespect anyone, or make any hurtful statements against anyone ever”. He said “ I am sure all of you ,especially the women and youth, will give a befitting reply to them, on June 1 during the election.” The Lord’s blessings, the Chief Minister said, has always been with Odisha and will always remain so...////...
