Bhubaneswar, Aug 22 (Reporter) The Odisha government has effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle involving eighteen senior-level IAS officers, a notification in this regard was issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department. As per the notification on Wednesday night, Satyabrata Sahu who was holding Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Revenue and Disaster Management with additional charge of Special relief Commissioner, was appointed as ACS Home and allowed to continue additional charge of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department. Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Home Department, D K Singh has been appointed as ACS, Revenue & Disaster Management. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority, held by Sahu. Surendra Kumar, IAS (RR-I993), Additional Chief Secretary to General Administration and Public Grievance Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Tourism Department and Additional Chief Secretary to ,Parliamentary Affairs Department is appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Steel & Mines Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Additional Chief Secretary to Parliamentary Affairs Department, Chairman, Odisha Mining Corporation Limited, Chairman, Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited and Chairman, Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited, Bhubaneswar. Principal Secretary to Industries Department with additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL and Principal Secretary to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department Hemant Sharma, was allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Energy Department. The additional appointment of Saswat Mishra, as Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department shall stand terminated from the date Sharma takes over. Principal Secretary to Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department Bishnupada Sethi, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to ST & SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department and Principal Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department. The additional appointment of Shalini Pandit, as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department shall stand terminated from the date Sethi takes over. Principal Secretary to Skill Development and Technical Education Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Commerce & Transport Department and Principal Secretary to Housing & Urban Development Department Usha Padhee, has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department. She is allowed to continue in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department. Special Secretary to industries Department Vishal Gagan, has been appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, New Delhi. Principal Secretary to Governor, N.B.S. Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, holding the position of Director, Tourism, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation, is appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Northern Division, Sambalpur. Odisha Mining Corporation Managing Director Balwant Singh, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited and Managing Director, Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited, Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Managing Director,Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department.
