Puri (Odisha), Oct 16 (Reporter) Elaborate preparations are underway for President Draupadi Murmu's visit to Puri, scheduled for October 24. Puri Superintendent of Police, Binit Agarwal, inspected the site at Gopabandhu Ayurved Medical College on Wednesday to make security arrangements for the event. Puri District Collector Sidharth Shankar Swain, Sri Jagannath Temple Chief Administrator Arabind Padhi, and the Superintendent of Police will attend a meeting with the Chhatisha Nijog (the apex confederate body of the temple servitors) on October 18 to finalize the rituals and security arrangements for the President's visit to Sri Jagannath Temple. Upon her arrival, the President will proceed to Gopabandhu Ayurveda Medical College here to inaugurate its diamond jubilee celebration and felicitate several Ayurvedic medicos on the occasion. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the two Deputy Chief Ministers, and local Member of Parliament Sambit Patra will accompany the President.
